Day 2 - Rec and Tracks
Our first FULL day of camp has been quite a day! The morning started with “I Can’t Wait” with dance music, praise music, stage games, video stories (Peach is a perennial favorite!). We ended with a short morning challenge from Pastor Luke where he gave an example of sometimes we have to choose one thing OR the other, but not both — and he encouraged us to “Love the Lord your God with all your heart”, to choose Christ as that which is worth far more than anything else.
Pray for the kids to “hear” this message, to know it personally, to point them to faith in the finished work of Christ.
Then of course we headed out for our first day of bible time, rec, and tracks! We had rain, thunder, and lightning during Track B but thankfully we had the space to move those outdoor activities indoors — the weather interruption didn’t last long, all clear!
With the weather out of the way the kids are back outside now doing “Hang Time” which is a more casual relaxed time of just playing together and fun activities like Sno Cones, “Girl Time”, and the ever popular Camp Store!
