Day 4 - OMC + Love Others: Even Your Enemies
OMC is in the books! So thankful the weather cleared up in the afternoon so we could have the full wet and wild OMC experience it’s intended to be!
As you know, today’s Higher Purpose focus is on loving others, and that means… gasp… even loving your enemies. (Matt 5:38-48) This can be a tough passage to swallow because our nature is to “get revenge” but Pastor Luke made a great point in the evening service that a key intent of the passage is for the chain of evil to stop, for us to trust and look to God for justice. God’s ways are higher than ours, which of course fits right into the overarching theme of the week.
It’s our last night, thank you for sharing your kids with us for the week. It’s been a great week of spiritual planting and watering, pray for God to grow the harvest and for our church to always have workers ready to reap that harvest in God’s time.
