2026 Community Project

Agape Pamoja

Agape Pamoja is a local ministry that serves refugee families in the Kansas City area through practical assistance, relationship-building, and Gospel-centered community. Their mission is to help meet the multifaceted needs of refugees by providing housing support, educational opportunities, life skills development, community involvement, and other resources while intentionally doing life together. Visit their website at agapepamoja.com.

Throughout the year, Antioch partners with Agape Pamoja through two recurring service opportunities:

Restoring Homes

Serve refugee families by helping improve and maintain homes throughout the Kansas City area. Projects may include painting, repairs, cleaning, landscaping, and other practical tasks that create safe, welcoming spaces for families as they build a new life in our community.

Camp Twende

Camp Twende provides refugee children and teenagers with opportunities for mentorship, recreation, discipleship, and personal growth. Volunteers help create a fun, encouraging environment where students can build relationships, develop life skills, and experience the love of Christ through caring adults.

These projects are a meaningful way to serve our neighbors, build relationships across cultures, and demonstrate Christ's love through both words and actions. If you're looking for a hands-on opportunity to make a difference in our community, we'd love for you to join us.
