Day 1 - Author of All Things
We are well fed and well led!
Our first whole-camp session is officially in the books, with Camp Pastor Thomas (Or Pastor T if you’re feeling cool 😎), and he introduced us to the theme for the week — That God is Author of All Things. And if God is the author, not just a historian, then He is in fact the one writing the story. Like a Mad LIb, we only see part of the story and sometimes what we fill in doesn’t really fit the big picture. But God… God knows the whole story from beginning to end already. So when God reveals part of story that doesn’t make sense (yet) we can, and should, trust Him.
Pray for Pastor Thomas to communicate a clear gospel, for the Holy Spirit to convict, and for the kids to learn to trust God as having a story planned for them that fits perfectly into His grand story. Not a fairy tale, not an allegory — but a real story that carries with each of us — with each of them — into eternity.
