Day 2 - Author of Salvation
Today we are focusing on how God is the Author of Salvation, that He alone is the path to a “happily ever after.” That even before Adam and Eve God had a plan to literally redeem the situation in the best way possible.
Each morning starts off with Time Alone With God — a rare quite time on campus and honestly one of my favorite times of the day when the campers and their leaders isolate for a few minutes to work through the morning devotion/workbook to get them thinking in line with the focus of the day.
Then we gather as a whole camp for the “I Can’t Wait!” morning session for some singing, games, and a morning lesson from Pastor T — and then split out for Bible Study and Rec Time.
Pray for the campers today to understand that God is the Author of Salvation and to put their faith in his plan which includes the redeeming work of Christ.
