Day 2 - Track time and slime!
So thankful for our first full day of camp, and also thankful it’s quiet now and coming to a close!
Today of course we have been reminded at every turn that God is the Author of Salvation.
"For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast." — Ephesians 2:8-9
Pray for the campers as they go to sleep, talk with their leaders, and think through their own relationship with God; To know that salvation isn’t found in doing enough good things — that’s impossible — But in placing their full faith for salvation in the saving work of Jesus. That it’s important for each of them, each of us, to have our own personal “salvation story” of how and when and why they placed their faith in Christ.
