Day 3 - Tracks of Truth
We are wrapping up the day, a day focused on Truth, what it is, and where we can find it. We learned that God is the source of it and that we should trust Him.
Should.
The truth is… not everyone does, and even those of us who claim his name don’t always do such a good job at it when the truth is hard or means something we don’t like.
The evening session closed with the thought provoking question: “Now what? What’s stopping you from trusting God’s word as truth?” Pray for the campers this week as they face this pivotal question, maybe for the first time. Pray for the Holy Spirit to convict, and for the campers to respond to God’s call.
Right on cue, as Hannah was giving an evening lesson in our church time, we had a rainbow. A double rainbow even. And honestly one of the clearest complete double-rainbows I’ve ever seen in my life. A reminder that God’s promises are true and are written on the parchment of nature all around us.
